Kaminski Pain And Performance Care is an avid supporter of local charities and healthy lifestyles in the community. We are also continually gaining certification and training in various healthcare techniques and the latest in technology to better serve our patients.

July – 2010:
Dr. Bob completed his first Half-Ironman in Racine Wisconsin along with other patient/athletes from our clinic. We would be pleased to recognize any of our patients who have completed half or full marathon events on our website. Please e-mail us with your permission to list your name and event!

April – 2010:
Dr. Lake completed 100 hours of sports medicine training and is now a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner. (C.C.S.P.) Congratulations Dr. Lake!

Early 2010 - NOW OPEN! - Kaminski Fitness Studio
We have expanded Kaminski Pain And Performance Care to include our NEW Kaminski Fitness Studio! The NEW Fitness Studio is outfitted with a large mirror, low impact rubber flooring and an assortment of equipment to train proper body mechanics during exercise as well as daily activities. Individual instruction in at-home care is provided in the Fitness Studio as well as special events and focused Small Group Fitness Classes.  We have also include a designated room for the K-laser Class 4 Therapeutic Laser in our expanded office space.

Congratulations to Claire Schwarz for being awarded the 2009 AAU Iowa Outstanding Athlete for Track and Field, and on becoming 4-time State USATF Cross Country Champion. Claire was also a member of the 2009 National AAU Champion 4 x 800m relay team.

November – 2009:
Kaminski Pain And Performance Care - Cornbelt Running Club:
Dr. Bob Kaminski, Dr. Kathy Kaminski and Dr. Lake were the presenters for the November 2009 Cornbelt Running Club meeting. The presentation included testing and scoring of volunteers using the Functional Movement Systems (FMS) screening process. The FMS was designed as a systematic approach for identifying problems with fundamental patterns of movement which, when corrected, improve function or decrease pain.

Jeff Paul Amateur Winner of the Half Ironman - Austin Texas!
October 25, 2009 - Austin Texas:
Congratulations Jeff Paul! Jeff qualified at the Longhorn 70.3 Ironman in Austin, Texas for his professional triathlete status and will be turning pro. He was the first amateur of 2500 finishers. The race included participants from 48 of 50 states. You dreamed Big and reached your goal!!!

September/October – 2009:
Dr. Kaminski traveled to St. Louis, in September, to teach a Lower Extremity workshop.

In early October, he taught a Recredential Seminar over all areas of the body.

Patient Profile – August 2009:
Congratulations to Larry Sandhaas on completing the Leadville Trail 100 race in Colorado in August 2009. The Leadville run is the highest elevation 100 mile race in the world. The competitors are allowed 30 hours to complete the 100 mile trail run. Out of the 578 racers only 250 finished. Larry finished in 29 hours and 15 minutes. Great job Larry!!.

Kaminski Pain And Performance Care - 20th Annual Du-State-Du:
Dr. Kim Lake volunteered her services to participants at the Du-State-Du in Andalusia, IL on August 16, 2009. A.R.T. treatments are beneficial to racers both before and after the event.

On Saturday, June 20th, Dr. Kaminski participated and treated at the
10th Annual Quad Cities Triathlon. Numerous participants received treatment before and especially after the race. Dr. Lake was also on hand helping on Friday night.

June – 2009:

Dr. Kaminski provided warm-up techniques for youth, ages 7 to 14 years old, in preparation for the Hy-Vee Kid's Triathlon.  

Jeff Paul Wins Galena Triathlon!
May 16, 2009 - Galena, Illinois:
Triathlete Jeff Paul, sponsored by Kaminski Pain And Performance Care, won the Triathlon portion of the 14th Annual Galena Triathlon & Duathlon by over 2 minutes!

Patient Profile – Spring & Summer 2009:
I am a senior at Davenport North and I will be attending Iowa State University next year to run cross country and track and major in environmental engineering.

I came to Dr. Kaminski during my sophomore year of track with a hip injury. I was in so much pain that I was ready to give up running for the rest of the season to allow the injury to heal. However after a couple weeks of visiting Dr. Kaminski, he helped me get back to the level that I was before I got injured. I was soon able to go on to earn medals at both the Drake Relays and the State track meet. Since then, Dr. Kaminski has helped me stay in good shape and injury free and I know that whenever I see him, I will leave feeling much better than before.

April – 2009:
Dr Robert Kaminski and Dr. Kathy Kaminski attended an Integrative Diagnosis Seminar by Dr. Bill Brady in Davenport, Iowa.

Dr. Lake traveled to Chicago, Illinois and is now a Certified Kinesotaper (CKTP).

Dr. Lake traveled to Orlando, Florida to teach an Active Release Techniques (ART) Lower Extremity Seminar.

March – 2009:
Kaminski Pain And Performance Care - CASI 27th Annual St. Patrick's Day Races:
Dr. Kaminski and Dr. Lake volunteered to help treat the runners at the CASI race with pre and post race tune-ups.  Kaminski Pain and Performance Care are Cornbelt Running Club sponsors. They participate at various races to provide free analysis of running gaits that help enhance performance and reduce injury.  

March – 2009:
Dr. Lake was one of three chiropractors selected to lead 15 Palmer students on a clinic abroad trip to Salvador, Brazil.  During this 12-day trip, six free clinic days were setup in 5 different towns/villages.  The group saw nearly 3,000 people and had a lot of positive outcomes.  

November – 2008:
Dr. Lake competed in the 2008 Governor's Race in Scott County Park.

September – 2008:

Dr. Kathleen Kaminski recently attended National University of Health Sciences Rehab Summit in Chicago where Tim Hewett PhD., Stuart McGill PhD and Dr. Craig Liebenson presented scientifically validated research regarding core strength and its effect on reducing injuries to the spine and extremities.

September – 2008:
Dr. Kimberly Lake has been selected as an instructor for Active Release Techniques.

AUGUST – 2008:
Dr. Kimberly Lake was a member of the National Softball Championship Co-ed Team, B Division, in Atlanta Georgia this month. Dr. Lake earned the top female batting average for the entire tournament, as well as being selected for the All-Tournament Team.

Dr. Bob won his first road race by ranking 1st in his age category in the 5 mile portion of Bettendorf’s annual Run 4 Carl.
